as human beings on top of the food chain on planet Earth, living in the technically advanced age Post-Millennium, it is hard to BE on top of technology OR even truely be an efficient user of it all .
among it comes the choice to do the /right/ thing to make it good for all, even to the nature around us, which should sustain precious Life for years to come .
as you will see, Korea Tech BLog cares about nature and the animals, and even fashion and style and all ~ the accessories men or female AND luggage we use to transport manually (instead of transfering via optic cables) throughout the World .
thus, I love Feitag bags, for its ecology AND uniqueness . it saves the World and at the same time shows you and only you .
.
.
I am an avid collector of amazing, unique things and among them Freitag recycled bags .
here I will tell you how to choose among the myriad of shapes AND designs, and even how AND where to purchase them in the Orient and Asia .
.
.
there are two ways of going about looking for Freitag bags : either shop them on-line at their Swiss store OR look for them materially in the fashion mecca closest to where you live & work . both carry their share of pro’s AND con’s in that :
- on-line store has much more choices of models in style AND color . but since this is all recycled, the resulting real product tend to look different from their small photos and will more-or-less result in a constant repetition of exchange and refunds, which they do quite efficiently AND speedily .
- going to look for them in the Real World is more of the sure thing to do to conjure your appetite . however takes time because most stores are scattered and some in remote locations, ofcourse with much limited availability than their on-line store .
.
which ever way OR cominations you may choose to purchase Freitag bags, you better be sure of which line of models best fit your needs AND/OR taste . their on-line store has quite a good illustration on each models’ intented use either on men OR women, and well proportioned in size ratios of the body and bag . this will certainly be done on the spot if you visit any of their real stores OR a joyous continuation of trial-and-error orders on-line . you will probably end up with a handful of models that suit you best and keep this as a guideline of what to look for AND where :

[ Brick-and-Motor Stores in the Real World ]
although scattered around the free World, real Freitag stores are mostly located in Western Europe and only a few in the States, with bulk concentrations in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Northern italy and guess what, Japan . it is NOT worth the time to visit any countries NOR continents or islands where they have only a single outlet because they are usually quite expensive with VERY limited choice of models . this is the case with South Korea in Seoul as well as Taiwan, Hong Kong and China in the Orient / Asia . ofcourse you should know these are NOT directly run stores but of local contractors with expertize in either fashion, accessories or even stationaries .
and so I have had the pleasure of visiting several stores in neighboring Japan . although it is surprising to find them scattered almost throught the relatively small island country, most are concentrated in heavy fashion or prestigious shopping districts, usually in newer ‘up and coming’ /young/ trendy department stores . where they are spread out, you can be sure it IS the area the most fashion-conscious locals head for . prices are roughly the same as the Freitag On-Line Store .
.
.
[ Freitag On-Line Store ]
roughly 5% of new bags are introduce every week and shipping choice is only of the fastest AND the most expensive to be delivered within THREE days around the World . refund AND exchange happens fast also within another THREE days .
but to remember always, is that these are recycled products and can show cuts AND wear that do NOT show on sales photos . so stick to color that are NOT muddy, with distinct prime colors working to make this a newer product .
the most fun part, also a unique experience is their F-Cut line where you can actually cut off your own pattern of bag design . thus, NOT refundable once done . but make sure you do plenty of practicing at least several months-worth before you yonder out on your own . I would recommend this try for fun but NOT for actual purchase, because the best designs have been already cut-off by experienced stylists AND craftsmen/women on the Alps .
