according to KASi Korea Astronomy and Space Science institute :

  1. the Moon will begin to hide lower portion of the Sun 3:53pm,
  2. to gradually shadow 45% of the Sun until 6:04pm SEOUL Time
  3. when times differ a few minutes depending where you are around the Korean Peninsula
  4. where the Southern tourist island is Jeju will hide the most at 57.4% of the Sun, lasting from 3:53 ~ 6:12pm

WARNING : DO NOT WATCH THE SUN DIRECTLY DURING THIS PHASE (NOR ANY TIME FOR THAT MATTER)

AS THE POINT FOR EVERY-DAY PERSON IS TO SEE HOW THE SURROUNDINGS GET DARKER, AND IF YOU MUST : PUT-ON YOUR DARKEST SUN-GLASS THEN TAKE A QUICK GLIMPSE TOWARDS THE SUN AT AROUND 5PM – FOR LESS THAN A SECOND – AS THERE ARE REPORTS OF DAMAGING EYES PERMANENTLY WATCHING THE SUN FOR 15 MINUTES WITH BARE EYES !!!

– Korea  Tech BLog

( Epilog ) so it was any other day, as the sky was over-cast with the Sun visible on its location although fuzzy without any outline . being cautious : throught tinted windows and my darkest sunglass I saw a glitch of a dot at lower-Left end of the tiny Sun at a quarter to . the Epidome at five o’clock was no different, though I caught a glimpse barely shading 1/3 of the Sun from the Left . even took a video of surrounding trees and the play-back was no different through-out . so it has to be over 90% cast like the black-out climax of the 2006 Mayan movie Apocalypto //
