[ DEFINITION OF EGG – WHAT IS AN EGG ]
Egg, in consumer technology terms a decade past the Millennium,
is a portable modem that receives Korean WiBro (wireless broadband) signals
and converts to a wireless router that sends out Wi-Fi signals .
only the first generation of the original Egg was oval in the shape of a real chicken-laid egg, although double the size
the clever name borne of the usual marketing ploy stuck, due to several models saturating the market whose manufacturer and model number a nuisance to remember .
it is synonym to different names used in different parts on planet Earth
like Pocket WiFi and Mobile WiMax .
[ THE NEED FOR AN EGG – WHY USE AN EGG ]
Egg came at a time synchronized with the influx of Apple iPad,
whose Wi-Fi-Only models came a daunting W150,000 cheaper than its 3G models .
aside from the price factor : 3G is unbearably slow, although accessible anywhere where cell phone signals can reach you .
[ EGG USE – HOW TO USE AN EGG ]
- roughly a half has built-in battery and the other exchangeable,
charge it with applied cord and charger, - to put it ON : press the main button a few minutes,
and OFF : again press the main button a few minutes, - LED light signals distinguishable by color :
Red = (charging) on empty battery or (while in use) low battery
Yellow = (charging) half-charged or (while in use) half battery

How to change password T Pocket-Fi plsaes kindly help me
How to refill? My package is 40gb
Model=kwf-h110
How to check the kt egg balance?
1.in the SetUp menu of your device 2.KT app.should be pre-installed in your smart-phone, and also at their Official website 3.call 100 from a KT-phone and identify yourself .
I’ve been using olleh egg for 6 years and am paying the monthly fee of 16, 330 for the 30 gig. Now its broken again. Where can i get or exchange for a new unit? I live in another place now and i can’t remember the place where i subscribed my egg. My first egg the battery got bloated, and filled with air. Then someone from the olleh shop in pocheon helped me get a new one for free. Now my second one is dysfunctional again and I live around seoul now. So i need help to get a new unit.
1.Official Warranty for domestic electronics are usually ONE year, so better buy a new model as they are more steady AND faster. newer portable Wi-Fi “Egg” models come-out every-other year.
2.you can make an issue on a bloated battery as it is directly linked to safety, and no manufacturer or vendor wants such photos get On-Line.
How to reset the KT EGG wifi?
I finished my contract and the strong egg is unusable right bow. Can i ask the provider to unlock simcard so it can be use with another operator in my country? If it’s possible where should i contact?
Can I buy a wifi egg without any subscription and use my own sim card(LG U+)?
although you can : there is no point in buying it off-the-self without subscription as the full-retail price will be about W120,000 while Monthly subscription would be approximately W12,000 for a year’s contract (or two nowadays). but if you still need it for less than a year : try searching at one of Korea’s popular On-Line second-hand communities where you can get a clean one for almost half above price and an older-model wouldn’t differ much if you need it for a short period – Good Luck
