as Apple’s second-round of larger smart-phone in iPhone 6S AND PLUS is about to be released this Weekend, expected to increase iPhone usage in South Korea even more : there also would be more selling previous phones and many considering to purchase a used one when its price goes down one notch when a new popular phone is introduced .
- I cannot list all models under this Universe especially the so-many dispersed by shame-ful SamSung Electronics, so will mention each major manufacturer’s main line which largely represent their brand .
- capacity is mentioned only when consumers are given a choice – and only picked one central and most popular GB .
- marked price is of higher asking-for AND with good chance of being sold, on almost like-new device with clean exterior and no dents, and Warranty left if the model itself is released within a Year .

You can immediately witness the value-retaining power of Apple iPhone in the very home-ground of its competitors too . although most of above competing models started around the same ball-park price when initially introduced, even younger Koreans now know especially the Galaxy series was over-priced, thus recent mass-exodus continuing now – it is my opinion that a new Galaxy and LG G-series model have at most 70% (Yes I pushed it) value of the latest iPhone at a given time .
One interesting phenomenon : the last of the smaller 4-inch screen and yet co in iPhone 5S is quite hard to get in a clean model, and its price coming-up to even over W400,000 mark //
Plus I should add a used but like-new Galaxy S6 is the most wonderous machine to have if you must use Android OS instead of Apple iOS . while its design is quite sleek-similar to the latest iPhone 6 AND 6S, you can use South Korea’s latest banking apps including SamSung Pay, which will be much more widely used here than Apple Pay .
( The Circle of Life ) here I will lend you insight onto the swinging value of a smart-phone as time passes over the Korean Peninsula – as witness for the past six years following iPhone’s belated introduction onto the once, Land of the Morning Calm . SamSung and LG smart-phones take a dive down by the next Season from launch and a like-new clean used one can be had at almost half its original retail price after a Semester . at the same time-frame : an iPhone would still have at least 75% value intact <3
at a time like this : a Week before and after a new series of iPhone is released, is the best time BUY a used one – for everyone including retailers and telecommunications branches try to sell-off the older model . BUT it rises again after a good Months have passed – so then is the better time to sell-off your old one than now //
