’tis TWO Weeks before Christmas when amid a welcome new firmware enabling English can now be had on the most popular ipTime router in South Korea : iPad Air and Mini Retina is told to be released next Week . and even though this are riding the mobile age now quite ripe : a notebook-sized portable laptop is still needed to fullfill serious work AND play, thus your prime product up on your Christmas wish-list 😉
so like every year I have picked a hand-ful out of a zillion combination of possibilities, with a few key-terms for a casual traveler : always ready on-the-go to take work with you AND entertain in-flight to all your joy 😉
first and fore-most a popular model so you won’t have trouble re-selling when upgrade time comes . with not such screen resolution that may tire your eyes . preferably with SSD to speed-up your system, yet have ample hard disk in addition for all your files . plus an affordable one below W800,000 for the most punch-for-the-buck, but one that does NOT look cheap as this is a disgrace in the sleek age of MacBook Air .. ofcourse NOT all the following fit into this category but comes near at minimal sacrifice, and listing 13-inch to 15-inch screen sizes for you to choose, still 14 would have the best of both Worlds .
prices are of the lowest at largest On-Line discount outlets, so your actual purchase will be more :
HanSung U34X ForceRecon 2350 introduced August 2013 W645,000

this is an upgrade from an immensely popular tote-around notebook, dubbed “national air” or in-min air, for it looks just alike MacBook Air from afar 😉 get this one if 13 inch isn’t too small for you AND don’t need much hard drive space 😉 won’t have problem re-selling after-wards either .
Lenovo TrendBook S410 59388376 introduced July 2013 W625,000

although the iBM is gone and in-comes sneaky warranty support practices, Chinese style but still is quite a bang-for-buck //

GigaByte has quite a following for its powerful, chick notebooks but with price to match .
LG ND560-YD50K introduced May 2013 W745,000
intel core i5-3230M Dual 2.6GHz TurboBoost 3.2GHz ivy Bridge – 15.6″ 1600×900 pixels LED back-light – 4G DDR3 – 750GB HDD – DVD multi – Radeon HD8730M(2GB) – 1Gbps LAN, 802.11 b/g/n wireless – BlueTooth 4.0 – HDMi, WiDi(wireless) D-Sub, USB2.0 3.0 multi-card reader – independent block keyboard – OS NOT included – shiny white 3.3~3.4cm thick, 2.43kg
SSD 120+750GB HDD option W888,000
snuck this in because I adore its support (rivaling SamSung does a notch better, but a passable notebook for the money hardly comes by), while most others will choose HanSung for better price, yet cheaper looking ..
note its black keyboards on a white back-ground might be to contrasty to tire your eyes, and there comes a choice of dedicated color keyboard skins, where White will camouflage the whole inside of your device well as on photo above 😉
